From cold-heading raw steel wire to heat-treated finished bolts, every step runs under strict in-house process control — ensuring the dimensional accuracy and strength grade printed on every head marking.
A male-female threaded standoff — sometimes called an insert nut — is a hex or round body with an external (male) thread on one end and an internal (female) tapped bore through the rest. It screws into a tapped hole or panel and provides a raised threaded point above the surface, setting a fixed spacing between two parts. Standoffs are the standard way to mount and space circuit boards, panels, covers, displays and electronic assemblies, and to build up multi-layer stacks with further standoffs. The hex body lets it be driven and held with a spanner or nut driver. Carbon steel is zinc-plated; stainless A2 / A4 and brass suit corrosive or electrical applications.
Screw the male end into the tapped hole or through-panel and tighten on the hex body with a spanner or nut driver — do not overtighten a small standoff or the thread will strip. Mount the board or panel over the female end and secure it with a screw, or stack a further standoff on top to build up the height. Keep the load axial and use a washer where a board must not be marked. For electrical work choose the material (stainless or brass) to suit conductivity, grounding and corrosion, and match the male and female thread sizes your assembly calls for.
Machined from carbon steel with an external stud and internal tapped bore and zinc-plated, with both threads gauge-checked and every batch traceable to raw material certificates. Each lot passes dimensional inspection before packaging; EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are available on request.
