From cold-heading raw steel wire to heat-treated finished bolts, every step runs under strict in-house process control — ensuring the dimensional accuracy and strength grade printed on every head marking.
A petal nut is a hand-adjustable nut with several rounded lobes — petals — around its rim that give a firm grip for turning by hand without a tool. The lobed form is easier to grip than a plain wing nut for repeated adjustment and gives a cleaner, snag-free profile. They are used on clamps and jigs, adjustable stands and frames, sports and gym equipment, furniture, medical and lab fixtures, and any assembly opened and closed often. The rounded lobes suit gloved or wet hands; stainless A2 / A4 versions suit damp, outdoor, food and medical use, and their light clamp force suits frequently-serviced rather than structural joints.
Run the petal nut down by hand until it meets the surface, then nip it up with firm finger pressure on the lobes — no tool is needed. Use a flat washer under the nut to spread the load and protect the surface, and a spring washer where mild vibration is present. Petal nuts give a light-to-moderate clamp by hand, so use them for clamps, guards and adjustable joints rather than high-load structural connections, and choose stainless or plated finishes for wet, outdoor or hygienic use.
Formed from austenitic stainless steel — A2 (AISI 304) or A4 (AISI 316) — with a multi-lobe hand-grip rim, with lobes and thread checked and every batch traceable to raw material certificates. Each lot passes dimensional inspection before packaging; EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are available on request.
